Jerry Ralph Branscum, of Haslet, Tx, passed away on Monday October 1st, 2018 in Dallas, Tx. He will always be remembered as a loving spouse, father, friend, colleague, and papa to all that knew and loved him.
He was born on March 3rd, 1947 in Rotan, Tx to William and Amy Branscum. Jerry was a federal employee for the Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration at Dallas Fort Worth International airport for 6.5 years and customer service technician for Texas Electric Services Company for 32 years. He was Married to Joline Branscum for 19 loving and memorable years, he had a love for cinema and collected movies to share with his family; he had a passion for computer electronics of which he enjoyed for many years. He enjoyed building things and built a custom home on Frankie B Street in North Richland Hills with his company JRB Custom Homes. In his current home in Haslet, Tx he worked around the house making home improvements in his free time. He had a special love for all of his grandchildren and children and enjoyed making memories with them and cherished photographs of family gatherings and special occasions. He was an active member of his church Heritage Baptist Church in Haslet, Tx and enjoyed fellowship and worship there for many years.
Jerry Branscum is survived by his wife Joline Branscum and their children: Eric Jackson and wife Jennifer Jackson, Kevin Jackson and wife Monica Jackson, Kim Kaercher and husband Chad Kaercher, Debra Smith and husband Trey Smith, and Tony Jackson and spouse Vicki Long and 9 grandchildren; as well as his niece Loretta Williams and husband Randy Williams. He was preceded in death by his brother William Cecil Branscum whom he was very close to.
The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning on Thursday October 4, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
