Service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel. Jeanette M. Jackson was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Buffalo, N.Y., to John and Adrienne DiGuiseppe LaPosta. She and her sister, Marie, were raised in a loving Italian family, surrounded by grandparents, aunts and uncles who all lived close by. Her childhood was filled with many happy times that included wonderful Italian food and the laughter of family members gathered together. Jeanette, or Jan as she was known by friends, met Charles G. Jackson in Buffalo and they were married April 26, 1952. They soon moved to Fort Worth, where they raised three children, Charles Jr., Steven and Marianne. In her children, she instilled a strong Catholic faith, values and a love of laughter. Jan and Charlie were married for 62 years. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Isle of Watermere who took such good care of our mom, especially Angela, Marianne, Cheryl and Joe. Survivors: Children, Chuck, Steve and Marianne; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and niece, Susan Marie Fonzi.
