Bedford, Jason “Ironman” Stuart Skjolsvik, 57, a loving father and devoted husband went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Compass Christian Church in Colleyville, TX. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Monday, Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, Colleyville, TX. Jason was born November 7, 1959 in Mineral Wells, TX to Ronald and Lovina Skjolsvik. In the words of his daughters, “He lived big”. Jason put everything he had into everything he did. He was a brilliant, self-taught, Jack of all trades. He was a friend and mentor to many but above all, he loved his family. Jason took pride in and loved his work which is evidenced by his contribution to many Fort Worth venues such as Bass Hall, Fort Worth Convention Center, Modern Arts Museum, National Cowgirl Museum, Amon Carter Museum and many more. Jason is survived by wife of 22 years, Stacey Skjolsvik, daughters Lexi and Lauren, sisters, Karen and husband Tony, Valerie and husband Joe, brothers, Doug and wife Vonda, Erik and wife Pamela, and many nieces and nephews.
