Jameson Tanner Hess blessed us from the day he was born on December 5, 1995 in Houston, Texas until his untimely passing on September 9, 2016. He was an incredible natural athlete – almost from the day he was born. He WAS “James’ Son” – to a tee. He loved golfing, wakeboarding, snow skiing, snowboarding, playing lacrosse (most recently with the Keller Lacrosse Association), playing disc golf, dirt biking and especially snuggling with our English Bulldog, Cowboy. He also loved our Labradoodles, Houston and Georgia, but they weren’t his kindred spirit like Cowboy was. Jameson had a heart of gold, was a loyal friend and son, and wanted to be loved. Indeed, he most certainly was! Jame, as we affectionately called him, is survived by his parents Jennifer and Jim Hess of Colleyville, TX; his older brother Jordan Daniel Hess, a senior at the University of Arizona; his younger brother Jensen Maclane Hess, a high school senior at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA; his grandparents, Maureen and Ralph Hess of Scottsdale, AZ, and Evelyn and Jim Fosella of Sebring, FL; his uncle John (Peggy), aunt Kristin (Suzy) and uncle Scott (Nick); and, cousins Jacob and Catherine Hess. He adored his extended family - the Ryan and Marsh families. He is predeceased by his grandfather Russell Pasfield and his best friend Kenten Lowrie. Some of his favorite places were Vail, CO; Lake Beulah, WI; Milton, GA and Lubbock, TX. In his short life, he lived in Houston, TX (twice); Roswell, GA; Ballwin, MO; Milton, GA; Lubbock, TX; and, Colleyville, TX. He loved the Green Bay Packers, especially Brett Favre. They shared the #4. He was the only leftie in our family and was a huge Phil Michelson fan. And, just like his dad, he loved recording golf tournaments to watch later. And, of course, he loved the Georgia Bulldogs, just like his mom!
The Hess Family would like to thank their family, friends, and media community for the outpouring of love. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home. Donations can be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation at https://community.lymphoma.org/tribute.
