James was active in sports during his youth and played football during his high school years in Columbus, Ohio. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Army. He married Rebecca Jane Schnarr, and they had two children. James was a devoted husband and father. He showed his strong work ethic and dedication working fleet service for American Airlines for more than 30 years. He took pleasure in eating at Whataburger often, loved the color blue, and cherished spending time and making memories with his beloved family. Most importantly, James loved the Lord, had a strong faith and was ever generous. He always found strength in his favorite prayers, The Lord’s Prayer and the Serenity Prayer. He always did his best to provide and gifted items, time and money to those that needed it.
