Mr. James V. Curry

Daddy and Grandaddy are what his children and grandchildren called him, everyone else knew him as J.V.

J.V. will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and Grandaddy to all that knew and loved him.

He was born March 14, 1930, in Santa Anna, TX to Virgil and Nettie Curry, James was married to Geneva Bennett on February 10, 1951. He worked at Lockheed Martin for 43 years before retiring in 1992.

J.V. is survived by his sister Ruth Elkins of Abilene, TX, and brother Otha Curry of Flora Vista, NM. His surviving children are James Curry and his wife Glenda of Alvord, TX, Gary Curry of Watauga, TX, Don Curry, and his wife Mary of North Richland Hills, TX. His grandchildren are Christie Grose, Alicia Derington, Amanda Cullen, Timothy Curry, Melissa Curry, Tamara Curry, Brian Curry, Krystal Curry, and Chelsea Wuebker. He has 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Nettie Curry, sister Vada Zimmerlee, and his loving wife Geneva Curry.

The family will receive friends in the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034 on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 1:30 PM- 2:30 PM

Graveside service will follow immediately in the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Court of Fidelity.
