Mrs. Holly H Morris

Holly was the first child of three of Capt. William Hollister, USN, and Norma Hollister. Her school years were punctuated by eight trips across the country in 12 years. She graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California. Holly was an avid reader, craft artisan, crossword solver, friendly purveyor of shenanigans, nurturing mother and grandmother and rejoiceful admirer of night-time thunderstorms.

After the death of her husband, Walter Morris in 2007, she moved from El Paso, TX to North Richland Hills, TX to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her children, Tom Bell (Betty), Matt Bell (Sharon), Ann Rogan (Wallace) and Burke Morris; Sisters, Pattie Laczko and Willie Wool (Mitch); Grandchildren, Jeramiah Bell (Stacey), Tyler Morris (Angel), Hayley Bell, Hunter Bell, Reid Rogan and Cade Rogan; Great grandchildren, Rylen Morris and Morrigan Bell

The family would like to thank Holly’s care team at Stone Creek Senior Living in North Richland Hills, Texas and also the medical staff at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, Texas for showing compassion and kindness at the end of her life.
