Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jack D. Terry Jr. officiating. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Fred was born on February 16, 1947, in Fort Worth. He grew up on the east side of Fort Worth in Meadowbrook and attended Eastern Hills High School where he was one of two athletes to become a three-year letterman in baseball. He married his high school sweetheart in 1968. He received a bachelor's in business from Texas Wesleyan College. He spent his business career in sales, winning numerous outstanding sales awards. He retired from Lucent Technologies/AT&T.
Fred loved coaching organized youth baseball, especially when his son was playing. He was an avid golfer and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord. After a 14-year courageous battle with cancer he went to be with the Lord surrounded by his wife and son.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred W. Robeson Sr. and Pauline Kirton Robeson; and an infant daughter.
Survivors: Wife, Charolette Moorhead Robeson, of 48 years; son, Rodney Lee Robeson of Hurst and wife, Amanda Hysmith Robeson; a beloved granddaughter and joy of his life, Daisy Faith Robeson.
