Evelyn Cullom Pettyjohn, 87, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, in Round Rock. Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. She was born Evelyn Cullom on Nov. 15, 1928, the daughter of James and Winnie Lee Bishop Cullom. She grew up in Springfield, La., and graduated with honors from Southeastern Louisiana College. She was life member of the Dallas Dachshund Club and Dallas-Fort Worth Budgie Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane L. Pettyjohn; and sons, Robert Palmer and Mark Pettyjohn. Survivors: Daughter, Cindy Rogers; sons, Jim Palmer, Johnny Palmer and Shawn Pettyjohn; grandchildren, Heather Phillips, Nathan Palmer and Jennifer Kokmeier and Elizabeth Collins; great-grandchildren, Ansley Phillips, Haley Phillips, Bethany Phillips, Abigail Phillips, Justin Kokmeier, James Kokmeier and Oliver Collins; sister, Betty Welsh.
