Evelyn Rochelle Swafford Peters, 75, formerly of Grapevine, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Evelyn. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Alma Swafford; brother, Birch Swafford. Survivors: Husband of 20 years, Kenneth Peters; son, Michael Haire (Kate); daughter, Kenda Nelson (Ron); brother, Don Swafford (Dolly); sisters, Jo Ella Haley, Susie Polley and Carolyn "Kaki" Harrison (William); and sister-in-law, Carolyn Swafford. Also left to cherish her memory are four grandchildren - Joseph Lombardi, Rosa Haire, Colin Vokes, and Nathan Nelson and three great-grandchildren - Josette, Viva, and Elizabeth.
