She was born in Gainesville, TX on Nov. 4th, 1933.
She was a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed playing Bingo, working word search puzzles, and spending time with her family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents: Aldewin Ashford and Lula Mae Young, four brothers: Billy, Dean, Jerry Wayne, and Ray (Bud) Young, one sister: Johnny Windom, and her beloved son: Raymond Lee Morris.
She is survived by her daughter: Carol Pennington, daughter in-law: Deana Morris, sister: Valeta Faye Lane, two granddaughters: Ashley Lauderdale (Nick) and Becky Pennington (Corey), and four great-grandsons: Caidren, Rylan, Sawyer, and Finley Lauderdale.
She was a loving and kind Mother, Mother in-law, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and friend to many. She will be loved for eternity and missed deeply.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, December 1st, at Bluebonnet Hills funeral home in Colleyville, TX.
