Elizabeth Ann Bowyer, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 3, 2016. During High School, Elizabeth spent several years in school in Ethopia. Her parents were commissioned by President Roosevelt to teach soil conservation to the Ethiopian government. Elizabeth was a devoted teacher, mother and wife. She taught at several schools including J.P. Elder Middle School and Gunn Junior High School where she retired as a Special Education teacher. Elizabeth loved to tend her flower gardens, travel, scrapbook and play bridge. She was loved and will be missed.
