Edwin is preceded in death by his son Kevin K. Bowen. Edwin is survived by his wife, Brenda A. Bowen of Bonham, TX; His son Scott Bowen (Denice) of Fort Walton Beach, FL; His son Matthew J. Bowen of Carrollton, TX; Grandchildren, Tanner R. Bowen, William K. Maberry, Kendall L. Ibsen (David), Logan Bowen(Brittany), Samantha Bowen and Sophia Bowen; great grandchildren Nolan, Charlotte and Vivienne; his brother, Ted Bowen (Gail) of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; nieces and nephews Hildy, Max, and Nathaniel; his former daughter-in-law Lauren Ayala; and his BEST sports betting friend of over 50 years, Wilbur Mozingo.
A graveside service for Edwin will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
