Our sweet momma Dorothy went home to heaven November 16, 2020. She went peacefully in her sleep at her own home. Dorothy was predeceased by her mother, Gladys Stephenson; her son, Tim Kilmer; grandson, Rob Kilmer; brother, Clifford Stephenson; her first husband Tom Kilmer and second husband, Leon Curl.
Momma leaves behind a loving husband of 20 years, David R. Robertson, daughters, Kitty Kilmer Storm and husband, Chuck, Peggy Marlene Kilmer, Lori Kilmer Lynch and husband, Steve, son, Dennis P. Kilmer and wife, Debbora. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was born to Gladys Lenore (Broyles) Stephenson and Charles Clifford Stephenson on January 27, 1924 in Tyler, Texas. She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas Texas in 1942. Momma loved her family, dancing, traveling, and dressing to the hilt. She wished she had become a dress designer. Dorothy retired from Sears in 1987. She was an Avon Representative for 20 years. She was our "Shiny Momma." We love and miss her so. As she loved to hear, "There's No Place Like Home."
