AURORA -- Donald H. Winters, 75, of Aurora, Texas passed away on March 28, 2015. Funeral: A service celebrating the life of Donald will be held Thursday, April 2 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends are invited for a time of visitation with the family on Wednesday, April 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. He was born on 2/10/1940 in Fort Worth, Texas to his parents, Vernon & Dorothy Winters. Don was one of 3 sons. He was married to Nancy Winters for 50+ years and they had 5 children. Don took great pride in his 39 career with Bell Helicopter which included service time with BHTI in Tehran, Iran. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard, his wife Nancy and his daughter Nancy Elizabeth. Survivors: Cindy Stevens and her husband Michael, Jeff Winters and his wife Glynda, Don Winters II, and Mara Pankovich and her husband George. Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Anna & Sara. Brother: Jerry Winters.
