A year...It seems like only yesterday. We will always miss her.

The New York Office of Heritage Auctions is truly saddened by the loss of such a wonderful colleague.  Our sincerest condolences to Debbie's family.  As suggested we will be making a gift to Susan G. Komen in her memory.  We always loved her visits here and she will be greatly missed.

My prayers are with the Rexing family.  Debbie was a wonderful lady; always smiling and leaving smiles on the faces of those lucky enough to know her.  She was both beautiful on the inside and out; she will be missed.

Our family was so very lucky to work with Debbie the past few years. We were so happy to have been together in May and hear all about Trent, Abbie and Claire the loves of her life. We will miss her smiling face!

Simply an amazing lady. Debbie was the single most influential person in my entire professional life and one of the most important people to me personally. She was brilliant, compassionate, tremendously insightful, wise, funny and fun. I had the privilege of working and traveling with her for the last six years and, in the hundreds of hours we spent together, I knew that I would never know a better boss, a term I used with her out of deep respect and love. There are no words adequate enough to describe this loss. My thoughts, prayers, sympathy and love are with her children, family and friends who meant everything to her.

Debbie was a sweet soul. Kind and gentle. I cannot imagine what you must be feeling at this tragic time.  My suggestion would be to take time to grieve and mourn the loss of the precious mom you were blessed with. My heart is so heavy for you and in the days ahead please know that you will get through this.Take it one day at a time or one hour at a time if need be.  I know and love your grandparents, Donna and Alvin. They were both such a comfort to me when I needed it. You have a strong, loving family and in times like these that is all that really matters. Lean on each other and know that your mom is at peace at last. I love you.

I worked closely with Debbie for many years. Whether it was over an email or a martini, I found myself saying most often: "Thank you for being so thoughtful, Debbie." Her kindness and support meant so much to me, to all of us who were so blessed to have it. Sending love and light to her kids, who she loved so very much. She never stopped talking about you.

We watched Debbie grow up in Fort Wayne.  She and her sister were the light in their parents lives.  I remember how proud Grandpa Bob was when Trent was born.  My prayers are with all the family.

"Sparkle" is a word that comes to mind when we think of Debbie. She had a way of lighting up a room. May the light of her memory continue to shine. May those good memories help to comfort Trent, Abbie, and Claire.

Debbie was one of the best people I've ever met professionally: not only was she warm and approachable, she was so smart and so capable, as well - she was just a joy to work for. She was truly charming. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Thoughts of Debbie over the years have always brought a big smile to my face, and the words â€œI adore Debbieâ€ to my lipsâ€¦.I know there are countless people out there who feel the same way about her. Debbie was just a beautiful person who brought joy wherever she went. I am shocked and bereft to hearing of her passing, and my heart goes out to her children and parents. What a terrible loss.

Debbie was always such a bright light when Kelley and I were in Dallas.  No one worked harder, and no one had a more positive attitude.  Just as we are overwhelmed with great memories of time spent with Debbie; equally, we are overwhelmed with sadness at the news of her passing.
