David Schlunt, of Colleyville, Tx, passed away on October 5th 2018 in Keller, Tx. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved him.
He was born on September 16, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joseph and Mary Alice Schlunt. David loved his family first and foremost and loved working for Delta Airlines. He was the unofficial photographer for his daughters activities/events, world traveler and had a special talent in embarrassing his girls with the booty shaking dance.
David is survived by wife Penny Schlunt of Colleyville, TX, daughters Becky Jones, Husband Andy Jones of Ft Worth, TX, Lori Thomas and Husband Tyson Thomas of Ft Worth, TX, Grandkids Tristin, Victoria, Skyler Thomas, Tyler and Riley Jones of Ft Worth, TX. Brothers Joesph and Vincent Schlunt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Alice Schlunt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Oct 8th at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home . The Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m on Oct 9th at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
