Mr. David Hamilton Ritz

He was married to Barbara Ann Ritz on November 5, 1951 who preceded him in death after 45 years of marriage.

Dave was president of The Ritz Company, a Custom Home building company from 1975 to 1996. Previously he worked for Sabine Valley Builders from 1954 to 1975. He served as President of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association in 1969. Dave was also a 50+ year Master Mason.

Dave loved to travel, dance and being around people. He was a good Christian man (a preacher’s kid) who enjoyed every moment of life including riding motorcycles into his 80’s.

Dave was preceded in death by wife Barbara, brother John S. Ritz, Sisters JoAnn Paulesen and Mary Lou Skinner, Mother and father, Dorothy and Frank Ritz.

He is survived by his son, Frank Ritz and wife Brenda, his daughter Diana Blocherer, four grandchildren and seven great grand kids. Dave also is survived by the joy of his life, Rosie Cyrier and her entire family.

Per his request a private graveside service for immediate family will be held at Bluebonnet Hills, Colleyville, TX.

The family wishes to express the deepest appreciation to Waterview Assisted Living in Granbury for the wonderful loving care Dave was given. The family is also grateful for the outstanding hospice care from Alpha Omega, Weatherford, TX.
