Clean up time after a fire department awards dinner with a little goofiness.

Always the first to lend a hand, David was a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom and witty in character.  You served your community, family and friends fiercely and now, your Father in heaven holds you in his loving arms. Your work here on earth is done my friend, rest in peace.

I really enjoyed working for the city under his stewardship.  He will be missed. He always took the time to say hello to me and I appreciated it.
