Daryl Wayne Davis, 53, of Keller, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Daryl was a Vice-President and Senior Program Manager for Citibank, Irving. He graduated from Olney High School as Co-Salutatorian in 1980, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1984.
Daryl was a kind, gentle, Godly man who lived his life for his Holly Belle and Sydney, his pride and joy. He had a wonderful, dry wit which he got from his dad, never met a stranger, was an avid reader and will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing him.
Daryl was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Davis in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Holly Davis, daughter, Sydney Davis, mother LaVelle Davis, sister, Darla Milhollon and husband Rick, father-in-law, Bob Washburn, sister-in-law, Hope Stawski and husband Scott, niece, Amie Milhollon, nephew, Henry Malone, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitations will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, from 6-8pm, and on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, from 6-7pm. Services will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Olney, at 10:00 am, with burial following in Restland Cemetery in Olney, under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
