Although Curt was vaccinated, he, unfortunately, lost his battle against COVID due to unforeseen complications. He will always be remembered as a loving father, husband, friend, and colleague to all who knew and loved him.
Curt was born on October 23, 1954, to Herb and Pat Kee. He grew up in Fort Worth, TX with his brother, Scott and enjoyed the times they spent fishing together.
He attended Stephen F. Austin University and graduated with a degree in psychology. During his time at SFA, Curt made lifelong friends, but most importantly he met and fell in love with his wife Patty, they married on August 2, 1980. Curt and Patty were married for 41 years and Patty was the love of his life. together they had two amazing daughters, Amanda and Chelsea. He was very proud of his daughters and loved them dearly.
After college, Curt worked as a salesman for Curtis Steel Corporation for 30 years. During his time there, he became friends with many of his customers and he always believed in treating everyone with respect. In his free time, Curt enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and gardening.
Curt was a great man and a great friend to so many people. Being a kind and dependable father and husband was of the utmost importance to Curt and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family. Curt, you will forever be in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Kee; daughters, Amanda Kee and Chelsea Kee; mother, Pat Kee; and brother, Scott Kee. Curt was preceded in death by his father, Herb Kee.
The Memorial Service will be held on January 8, 2022 at 3pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
