

Connie was born July 6, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in central Illinois. She met her future husband, Byron Zirkle, in high school and they were married in Las Vegas in 1952.
Connie enjoyed secretarial work, first with the Atomic Energy Commission in Cincinnati and after marriage, at Norton and McClellan Air Force bases in California where Byron received his Air Traffic Control Training.
Blessed with 2 children; Cindi Jean in 1956 and Doug, born in 1959 the Zirkles were excited to be transferred to Texas in 1963 from St Louis to DFW.
Through the years in Texas, Connie worked at the American Airlines Stewardess College, DFW Airport (with AA), First Baptist Church of Euless, and the Old Bedford School. She volunteered at Arlington Memorial Hospital and Trinity High School. She later assisted with BeZee Photography which the couple founded in 1988 after Byron’s retirement from the FAA

Seven great-grandchildren; Kyle McKinney, Avery and Bryce Mueller, Ethan, Caitlyn, Austin Gilliam, and Daisy Claire Zirkle McGlynn. Niece; Marsha Jo Tinsley (Jack) Weddle. A Visitation will take place from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 12 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5727 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022, also at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral home. Burial will follow immediately in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
