Cody was born October 22, 1962, in Fort Worth, Tx to parents Jim and Peggy Lucko. He graduated from Decatur High School in 1981, then attended classes at TCJC. Cody drove through Taos, New Mexico on vacation in 1990 and fell in love with it. Shortly after making it his home he met Debbie, fell in love and made her his wife in 1992. They had 3 beautiful children that made his heart swell with pride and love. He was expecting his first grandson, Leo James, in April.
Cody was a master plumber and HVAC tech. Cody became a 32nd degree mason in 2006 and became Worshipful Master of the Bent Lodge 42 in 2009. Cody loved the Lord and became an Ordained minister. His wit and sense of humor could draw people in and form lifetime friendships. He had a passion for being the outlaw hippy cowboy, who loved his music and liked it loud.
Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie Lucko and Evelyn Lucko Bueche (Otto), Jesse Orr and Lorene Orr Garner (Hugh), Father-in-law Albert Vigil, and long time friend Eddiie Goge.
He will be missed by his family and friends and most sacred treasures, daughters Sibhon (Alain), Alicia, sons Zachary (Anika), Nathan; parents Jim & Peggy Lucko; wife Debbie; mother-in-law Rose Vigil; fur baby Lola; fur grandbabies Pumba, Petey, Negs and Gordy; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to - Bent Lodge 42 Taos, NM.
A visitation for Cody will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd; Colleyville, Texas 76034. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd; Colleyville, Texas 76034. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park
