Mrs. Cinda Lou Holder

We regretfully announce the passing of Cinda Lou Holder of Southlake, TX, on October 13, 2021. Cinda fought multiple myeloma with grace, optimism, and dignity until the end. She passed away at home with her family by her side.

She was born on December 20, 1954, in Knoxville, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1976. She met her best friend and husband, Tim, while there, and they began their marriage of 45 years after graduation. They moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she taught third grade and then retired to become the world’s best stay-at-home mom. Life later took her to Lake Jackson, TX, and then to Southlake, TX.

Cinda was a beautiful woman and enjoyed life to the fullest. She made the most of every day and lived each moment enthusiastically, even while undergoing cancer treatment. She was so thankful for the wonderful experiences she had traveling the world with family and friends. Cinda was constantly embarking on new projects. She loved to sew, volunteer in the community, cook, garden, and make new friends. However, in recent years her true passion was her three grandchildren. Cinda, affectionately known as Grammy, loved reliving all the joys of childhood with them, as she was always a kid at heart.

Cinda is survived by her husband, Tim Holder; daughter Heather Gardow and husband Doug; daughter Megan Tanner and husband Greg; grandchildren Harper and Everett Gardow and Reese Lou Tanner; and her precious dog, Buttercup. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Wilbur” and Ina Frazier, and her brother, Steven Frazier.

Services will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX, on November 6, 2021, at 1:00 PM.
