Christopher Dee Taylor “Chris”, age 54, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Chris was born in Amarillo, TX on April 3, 1967. Chris graduated from Grapevine High School and pursued Construction Management at Tarrant County College. Chris was a Geotechnical Field Engineer for Professional Service Industries and worked in Construction Management for several companies, including Lowes, Legacy Homes, and his own business, C&Y Construction.
Chris was more than a list of accomplishments on paper. While he experienced things most people never will, such as boxing in the Golden Gloves and becoming a member of the Republic of Texas, his true passion in life were his friends and family.
Chris married the love of his life, Michelle Armstrong, on October 10, 1999. They have three children and three grandchildren, who are the joy of their lives. He was a devoted father and Papa and loved spending time with his family. He was so proud of his kids and grandkids and would tell everyone he knew about their accomplishments.
Chris was an expert mechanic and had a love for cars and motorcycles. At 6’3” he made an impressive and memorable entrance on his bright yellow Harley Davidson. He was the first-person people called when something went wrong with their car, and they needed help. Night or day, if you called Chris Taylor, he would be there.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Dee Taylor and sisters, Donna Kay Taylor and Dana King.
Chris is survived by his wife, Michelle Taylor; mother, Karolyn Hasley Taylor; children, Jimmy Taylor, Carley Taylor, and Isabelle Taylor; grandchildren, Madeline Delgado, Karsyn White, and Noah Taylor; sister, Cheryle Griffin; and nephew Corey Cox and his wife Lisa; and many loving extended family and friends.
