Christine June (Myers) Rose, 99, of Carrollton, Texas passed away peacefully on June 28, 2017 and entered into her heavenly home with her Savior. Christine was born in Joplin, Missouri on August 29, 1917 to parents Joseph Allen Myers and Leta Hawkins Myers. She dearly loved her family and devoted her life as a homemaker. She also volunteered at Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. Christine was an avid Cowboys and Rangers fan. She was preceded in death by her husband Amos Adolphus Rose in 1968 and her son Robert Howard Rose in 2017. Christine is survived by her daughter, Vicki Rose Pierce and husband John of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Kendra Kerbow, Kayla Margo and husband Randy, Alicia Rose, and Ashley Dunham and husband Bryan and daughter-in-law Irvalynn Rose. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Burial will be at Bluebonnet Cemetery in Colleyville. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the caregivers at Amity Hospice especially to Kevin and Stacy.
