She was born in Gardena, California on July 3, 1946
She was married to the love of her life, the late Roger Lemieux on April 2, 1966.
Known by many names such as: Hon, Mom, Grama & Amma, Charlotte was a homemaker who volunteered countless hours for most of her kids school activities while they attended Southlake Carroll ISD.
She had a passion for sharing her love of Southlake, anything military, police, firefighters, or just striking a conversation with a stranger at Starbucks. She loved going to Walmart in North Richland Hills to help the “elderly” on days that they had their shopping days. She’d be their hands when they’d struggle.
She is survived by her sister Janet Gibbs of Torrance, CA, her son Tony & his wife Rhonda of Decatur, TX, her daughter Elisa Marks of Haslet, TX, her daughter Stephanie Smith & her husband Jay of Montgomery, TX. Charlotte has 7 grandchildren, Jamie, Brennon, Hayden, Hunter, Zach, Emma & Baylor. She has 5 great grandchildren, Rylie, Aidan, Avary, Addison & her namesake Hazelle Charlotte.
She had many other “family” members, not necessarily by birth, but just for her shear love of people. From the baristas at Starbucks, her nurses, to her favorite doctors. She’d talk with anyone that showed any sign of friendliness, and if she liked you in the least little bit, you were part of “The Best” family.
Services for Charlotte will be starting with a visitation at 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday June 28th at Bluebonnet Funeral home in Colleyville, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday June 29th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville, followed by burial at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX at 1 p.m. where she will once again rejoice with her late husband Roger, aka Hon, Dad, Grampa & Ampa!
