Bryan was born March 17, 1969, in Nacogdoches, TX. He graduated Nacogdoches High School in 1987, and he cherished his high school friends and his soccer coach Fashid. He got his BA in Communications from Stephen F Austin where he participated in student government and was very proud to be a member and brother in his fraternity of Alpha Tau Omega. He furthered his education with a Master’s in Human Resource Management. Bryan began a 29-year career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Management including stops at Alcon Laboratories, Stryker Pharmaceutical, PepsiCo and Neiman Marcus. Bryan’s greatest talent was building relationships and cultivating a team and he effected and mentored a substantial number of people over his career. Bryan can best be described as a servant leader, where he could be a lion or a lamb, a warrior or a comforter, all while being able to bring anyone to laugh.
Bryan was a huge supporter of his girls in soccer, volleyball, and cheerleading, and didn’t mind getting asked to leave a game by the referee. Bryan loved to fish, especially with his father, where it was always competitive, and you could always see by the look on their faces who caught the most fish. He loved golf and was an accomplished smack talker and trade guru in fantasy football. Sonnie was the love of his life, his best friend, and fiercest ally. They built a beautiful life together. He and Sonnie loved to spend time with Madi and Macie, family, and their tight group of loving friends in Southlake. Bryan and Sonnie were the FOMO couple. They were rolling stones, enjoying concerts, cowboy games, and anything that allowed Bryan to be the DJ or lead dancer.
Bryan has been a rock to many, a master of sarcasm and storytelling, witty comebacks and well timed advice, a relentless defender and a glorious pain in the butt. To those who truly knew him, you have been forever changed and Bryan was so forever grateful for you sharing your life with him.
