Brad Walker passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Fort Worth, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandad, uncle, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on August 27, 1953 in Denver, Colorado to Verna and Bob Walker. Brad graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and worked for Southwestern Bell. He later became a sales manager for AT&T based out of Dallas, Texas until he retired in 2003. Brad was incredibly involved and supportive of his three children’s school and sport activities. He was also active in his community, often attending city and school board meetings. Brad was a longtime member of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church. His favorite hobbies consisted of attending Texas Rangers baseball games with his family, playing golf with lifelong friends, and watching the Dallas Cowboys games on TV every Sunday.
Brad Walker is survived by his wife Brenda Walker; his sister; his 3 children and 6 grandchildren; mother-in-law and 3 step children; 2 nephews, and many more loved ones. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on August 26 at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church outdoor Spell Chapel. Internment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to White’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
His family rejoices that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, experiencing the fullness of joy, and the end to his suffering forevermore. Praise be to God, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
A visitation for Bradley will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Whites Chapel UMC-Spell Chapel, 185 S. White Chapel Blvd, Southlake, TX 76092. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:30 AM, 185 S White Chapel Blvd, Southlake, TX 76092. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034.
