She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 20, 1941 to Neva Serena Loveless Sims and Curtis William Sims.
Billie graduated from Tarrant High School in 1961.
She married Kenneth Ruben Crider on September 14, 1962 and they fell more in love each day. They were blessed with three daughters: Stephanie, Freida, and Treasa.
Billie had a career in Pharmacy at AARP Pharmacy and was always there to babysit the children she had such a big heart for.
She was a member of Oasis Community Worship Center, formerly Riverwalk Fellowship, and had a passion for Christ. She was an avid reader of the Bible and never missed a night of scripture.
Preceded in death by her parents, Neva and Curtis, and her loving husband, Kenneth Ruben Crider.
Billie is survived by her sister, Diane; brother, Butch; three daughters, Stephanie, Freida, and Treasa; son-in-law, Jerry; nine grandchildren Joshua, Justin, Andrea, Kayla, Kristin, Jaden, Tori, Jacie, and Chloe; along with many great-grandchildren whom she loved so much.
Billie will especially be remembered for her loving heart and fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met.
Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, February 12th at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13th at 12 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. Following the funeral services, there will be a celebration of life gathering at The Link Event Center in Richland Hills, Texas from 3 PM to 5 PM.
