Born October 7, 1941-September 30, 2024
Barbara was born and raised in Denver Colorado. She graduated from North High School in 1959.
She eventually moved to Maryland and met the love of her life John Peterson. They married and had two sons. She also became mother to six other children, who she loved and cherished as her own.
John and Barb established roots in the Dallas Fort Worth area. They had a successful jewelry business, Van Peterson Jewelry. She later incorporated antiques along with her jewelry business.
Barb's favorite hobby was Line Dancing! Eventually she became a Line Dance teacher and absolutely loved it!
The world was a better place with Barb in it. She will be greatly missed by all those in her life.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10am at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, Texas 76034.
