Alicia was born October 3,1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Jacinto and Consuelo Solano. She eloped and married her love, Jose L. Vega Jr. in December of 1963, who preceded her in death in 2017.
Alicia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to cook for everyone and never wanted anyone to leave her house hungry. She was known for her Mexican Rice. For many years Alicia worked at R-tec in Bedford as a PC Board inspector. There she met ladies that became best of friends, even after retiring.
Her life as a mother and grandmother was an example of how much love she had in her heart to give. She was very proud of her family but humble.
Alicia is survived by her sister; Lucy Santos; Son, Jose L.Vega III, daughter’s; Mary Maldonado and Janie Irwin, daughter in law; Anna Vega, son-in law’s; Sam Maldonado and Richard Irwin, Grandchildren; Jordan, Brandon, Miranda, Gabriella, Mason, Victoria, Deanna, and Jimmy.
She was preceded in death her parents Jacinto and Consuelo Solano, Husband Jose L Vega Jr., and Daughter Susan Vega
