Kristen Ambria (Muffin) Schuler, 17, of College Station died Saturday, May 9, 2015. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in College Station, 2300 Welsh Ave, College Station, TX 77845. A Celebration of Kristen’s life is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in College Station. Interment will follow at the Memorial Cemetery of College Station.
Kristen was born January 17, 1998 in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Stephanie Schuler. She was a junior at A&M Consolidated High School, where she was a member of the FFA, earning the Veterinary Science Certification and had an award winning portrait in Education in Agriculture of an Arc Welder featured in the rotunda of the Texas State Capital. Kristen was also involved in Girl Scouts and was a volunteer at Camp Howdy, member of the 4-H Club, and the BCS Drill Team. Kristen had a great love for animals, especially her horse Dancer. She was a life guard for the city of College Station and worked at Bee Creek Veterinary Hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Robert and Stephanie Schuler; brother, Dallas Price-Holmes; sister, Rikki Redmon; grandparents, Selia and Lawson Vore, David and Debbe Schuler; great grandmother, Phyllis Bruss; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kristen’s name at any Prosperity Bank for the Bee Creek Veterinary Hospital for orphaned and abandoned animals.
