Jacob Eli Wiese, 19, of Wellborn, passed away September 13, 1013 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation is scheduled for 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Services will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4201 State Highway 6 South, College Station, TX. With Reverend Rick Dowling of Spring, TX officiating. Burial will be in Wellborn Cemetery.
Jacob was born February 16, 1994 in Bryan, Texas. He attended A&M Consolidated Schools, graduating from A&M Consolidated High School where he lettered in Wrestling. Jacob loved the outdoors. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. He loved to work on and repair guns and competed in skeet and trap shooting as a member of the Brazos County 4 H Sportsman’s Club. He also loved to work on, and make knives, and was always curious about how things worked.
He was very patient with people. He loved teaching and sharing his knowledge about how to build or fix things with other people. He was playful and energetic about life and enjoyed life to the fullest. Jacob was attending Blinn Junior College in Bryan and was so excited about attending Texas A&M and enrolling in the MMET Program. He was currently working with SSC/Compass Corporation on the A&M Campus.
Jacob is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eli L. and Anna Morris Whiteley, and paternal grandfather, Rudolph Gustav “Rudy” Wiese.
He is survived by his father and mother, Mark and Alice Whiteley Wiese of Wellborn; sister, Christen Wiese of Houston; paternal grandmother Evelyn Wiese of Wellborn; aunts and uncles, Ruth Whiteley, Macon Whiteley, Rick and Mary Fitzwater, Nancy Wiese, Bridget and Greg Jones, Polly and John Wilson, and Carla and Edmundo Lujan; and numerous other family and friends.
