Betty was born September 12, 1935 in Brazos County the daughter of John R. and Grace Lea (Winslow) Bomnskie. Her family will best remember her for not only being called “Sissie” but also for her traditional dressing that everyone raved about at Thanksgiving. She was devoted to her family and took particular delight in her grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering with the Sunshine Auxiliary at College Station Medical Center and always looked forward to taking bus trips to the casino with her group of friends in the Bryan Seniors organization. She was dedicated and a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Betty (Aunt Sissie) during her 82 years, among them: always do the right thing, work hard and do your best in all you do. She brought joy to so many and will be missed.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Zulkowski Sr.; sisters, Susie Harvell and Margaret Gott; brother, Johnnie Bomnskie; and brothers-in-law, Pete Scanlin, Roland Harrison, Oscar Wolff and Howard Gott.
