Tuere was born on December 5, 1979, to Bernard and Laredo Heard in Atlanta, Ga at Crawford Long Hospital. She attended C. H. Gullatt Elementary, and Camp Creek Middle School. After graduating from Banneker High School in 1998, she went on to study Computer Science at Savannah State University. Tuere landed her first job as an Operations Associate for Sprint and worked her way up the ladder. In 2002, Tuere met Scott Mincey. They immediately hit it off and married late that same year. They resided in College Park, Ga where they raised two beautiful children. Their first child, Farrah Ariyan was born in 2003 and their second child, Scott Maurice was born in 2005. Tuere balanced being a loving mother and hard worker in her career. She was tech savvy with great interpersonal skills that opened doors to a career at SAP, Inc. There she created bonds and work family. You always saw Tuere with her laptop hand in hand.
Tuere was a woman of many talents and ventures. She loved being a part of Women After God’s Own Heart Ministry, "WAGOH". A vibrant, free spirited, funny, loving, and amazing person. Tuere loved to roller skate with her girls on Monday Nights at Skate Town, hike, travel, work out and hang with her friends. She loved her children and supported all their many endeavors as their number one fan. It was never a dull moment with Tuere, she believed in showing up for the people she loved. Her community volunteer services where with organizations such as I'm A Father First, 1 Moe Question, Bear Strong, O.N.E., and Feldwood Community Neighborhood Association. She treated her friends like family and never met a stranger as she greeted everyone with a big smile. We will miss her greatly.
Tuere was predeceased by her parents Bernard and Laredo Heard. She is survived by her sister Kemba (Heard) Solomon, her two children Farrah and Scott Mincey II, God Mother's Pamela Shepard and Rosie Jackson, Sister-Friends Melanie Samuel, Caryn Wyatt, Tamra Jordan, Loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of Friends.
A memorial service for Tuere will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, Georgia 30349.
