

Linda began her educational journey in the Atlanta Public Schools System, where she developed a strong foundation for her future endeavors. She continued her pursuit of knowledge at Grambling State University, where she expanded her horizons and embraced new experiences.
For an impressive 32 years, Linda dedicated her professional life to AT&T, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company as a whole. Her commitment and work ethic were admired by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Elijah “Buddy” Humphrey. Linda’s love and care knew no bounds, especially when it came to her family. Linda’s love for her family was unmatched. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Minnie Bell Humphrey, who she cherished and cared for selflessly throughout the years. Linda and her mother shared a special bond that brought them immense joy and comfort.
She also leaves behind her beloved aunt, Adell Outlaw; beloved brothers, Zachary Freeman and Harold Humphrey (Veronica), who held a special place in her heart; Linda’s nieces, Kiara Freeman, Nina Freeman, Marquita and Quentisha Humphrey; and her nephew, Zachary “Tyrome” Freeman, who will forever remember her as an extraordinary aunt who showered them with love and guidance.
Linda’s legacy extends to her great-nephews, Rayonte Thompson, Z’Lin Baugh, Zahad Jones, Quentin Elliott, Marquez Elliott and Joshua Willis, as well as her great-nieces, Nakayla Thompson, Samaiya Freeman and Jamiah Clark. She adored these young ones and cherished every moment spent with them, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Beyond her immediate family, Linda leaves behind a wide circle of friends and extended family who were touched by her kindness, warmth and genuine nature. She had a way of making everyone feel special and valued, and her impact on their lives will never be forgotten.
Linda Humphrey was a truly wonderful person who brought joy and happiness to everyone she encountered. Her legacy of love, compassion and dedication will continue to inspire and guide us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
A funeral for Linda will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA 30349. A funeral service will occur from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, Georgia 30349. An interment will occur Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, Georgia 30349.
