He was a devoted son born to parents Sandra J. Robinson and the late Armstead R. Cole on November 10, 1970.
Attorney Cole had a passion for the law and justice since he was a child. He became a powerful attorney licensed in Georgia, Illinois, and Louisiana. He was a graduate of several prestigious schools and universities including Francis T. Nicholls High School, Delgado Community College, and the University of New Orleans. He earned a law degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a Master of Laws (LLM), in Real Estate Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly The Chicago John Marshall Law School).
He was a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association. Cole was licensed to practice law in Georgia, Illinois, and Louisiana. Cole served as an Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish, in New Orleans. He also worked at the highly esteemed Alston & Bird Law Firm, in Atlanta, Georgia. As his success flourished, he proudly opened his own practice, The Cole Law Group, LLC, in 2004. He effectively sought justice for families and professionals for 18 years. His firm’s signature logo, Call Cole, was trademarked and can be seen on billboards around metro Atlanta.
When Attorney Cole was not seeking justice for clients, he treasured his time with his family. Some of his most cherished memories are with his beautiful wife Summer Danielle Cole and their adored daughters Jorie Danielle and Sky Blu Cole. Whether it was vacation at Disney World, attending the father-daughter dance, in the backyard building a trampoline or watching a volleyball game and gymnastics meet, Cole was present for his girls. They are honored to carry on his legacy. Cole also leaves behind a beloved mother Sandra Robinson whom he admired and three sisters who he also considered best friends, Sonya (Troy) Washington, Desiree (Ronnie), Joy (Henry) Jackson. Cole will be missed by his endearing mother-in-law, Burma Thomas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cole served in the United States Navy and the Navy Reserves for more than a decade, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. In addition to serving his country, Cole served the Lord. He was a dedicated member for 17 years, at World Changers International Church. One of his favorite scriptures was ~ Psalms 1:3 ~ “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Attorney Cole is preceded in death by his father Armstead R. Cole, Stepfather Joseph Robinson, Father-in-Law Charles Thomas, Grandmothers Edna Stewart and Rosetta Bartley.
