Anthony A. Saunders was born on August 10, 1956 to the late Page and Yvonne Saunders. He transitioned from his earthly body to perfect peace on June 14, 2015. He served in the United States Coast Guard for 4 years. Anthony was a active reader and loved music, he enjoyed nature and life. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Pamela Jimerson and Page (Skip) Saunders, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Benson-Saunders and one son, Brandon Benson. He also leaves to mourn his two siblings, Jerry Capel (Jeff) and Sharon Sweezy, all of Fayetteville, N.C., one grandson, Kyre Benson, twenty nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
