Larry Sayres

Larry was born in Connersville on January 23, 1946, to Marvin and Ada Conklin Sayres. He attended the Billingsville and College Corner schools. Larry entered in the U.S. Army on December 1, 1965 and was discharged on November 14, 1967. On October 1, 1966, he married Pamela Kay Dishman in Kansas. Larry worked as a maintenance man.

Larry is survived by three sons and their spouses: Jay Sayres and Heidi of Oxford, Steve Sayres and Sheila of Oxford, and Mike Sayres of Indianapolis; a daughter: Crystal Cassetty of Greencastle; a brother: Jerry Sayres of Bath; four-teen grandchildren: Jesse, Cody, Jordan, Dawna Kay, Shelby, Zachery, Ian, Lauren, Mariah, Mackenzie, Christopher, Megan, Olivia, and Blake; five great-grandchildren; and one nephew: Jason Sayres. Larry was preceded in death parents.

A public graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017, at College Corner Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post # 122 and the VFW Post # 1472 both of Liberty.
