Hazel M. Taylor, 98, of Coldwater, formerly of Quincy, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility. She was born July 20, 1915 in Coldwater to Myron and Lenora (Moffitt) Richardson. She married Marvin E. Taylor on July 20, 1935 in Marshall. They had been married for 61 years. He preceded her in death, September 4, 1996.
She was a lifelong resident of Branch County. She loved to travel, enjoyed making things from wood and crocheting.
Hazel is survived by her son; Basil E. Taylor of Quincy, granddaughter, Kristine (Scott) Inman, Grandsons, Kenneth (Tonia) Taylor, Kelly (Tina) Taylor, 5 great grandchildren: Tai Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Luke Taylor, Zachary Inman and sister-in-law, Gladys Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her twin brother, Hubert in 1918.
Services will be held on September 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m with two hours of visitation prior to the service at the Putnam funeral Home in Coldwater with Rev. Steven Young officiating.
