Rose Ballard was born August 8th, 1930 to Andrew Jackson ‘Babe’ and Nora Moses in Chicago, IL and moved to Jellico Creek, KY. She married E.C. ‘Bill’ Ballard on December 23rd, 1950 and moved to Oak Ridge, TN to raise her son, Michael and daughter, Brenda.
Rose and Bill spent many years living in Phoenix, AZ, and celebrated 40 years of marriage before Bill passed in 1991. Michael moved his mother to Cocoa, FL to spend her last years with him and his wife, Lisa.
Rose passed on March 26th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings; Glenn Moses Sr and Alice Giles. She is survived by her son and daughter; sisters, Gladys Wilson, Joyce Napier, Cynthia Thacker and Lois Hardwick as well as many nieces and nephews.
Rose will be interred next to Bill Ballard at the Resthaven /Carr-Tenney Memorial Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.
