Robert was born on December 17, 1942 in Bronx, New York to parents Jay Allen Rose, Sr. and Katherine Schott.
When Robert was 3 years old, he and his family moved to Miami, Florida.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Rozella; daughter Jaime Lynn Rush, son-in-law Timothy Rush; granddaughter Katlynn Rush; sister-in-law Rosalie Rose; sister-in-law Linda (Glenn) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was a VCOP, Volunteer Citizen Observer Program, with the Cocoa Police Department for many years. He enjoyed playing the organ and especially House of the Rising Sun. He had a wonderful life and loved all of his family very much.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. A funeral service & reception will occur Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Brevard Memorial Park, Spring St, Cocoa, FL 32927.
