Peter V. Schilling

He was born September 24, 1939, in Morristown, New Jersey. He was the only child of Arthur and Charlotte Schilling.

He enlisted in the Air Force shortly out of high school and served our country for four years before being honorably discharged.

Pete loved being outside, reading, boating, fishing, and dancing. He had a great love of all animals.

Pete worked for Southern Bell for 35 years before he retired.

He took great pride in providing for his family.

Pete is survived by his daughter, Brenda Maynard and her husband, Paul; daughter, Cara Schirard and her partner Stewart Wohletz; and son, Vaughn Schilling; five grand children: Katlyn Schirard, Mikael Maynard, Kelsey Schirard, Amanda Schilling, and Justin Schilling

Services will be held at Brevard Memorial Park on Saturday November 12, 2022.

Receiving friends @ 10:00 a.m. Service to follow. Graveside service to immediately follow.
