Paul “Butch” Pfeiffer Jr. was born on September 10, 1952 to Helen L. Kottwitz and Paul Pfeiffer Sr. in Louisiana, Missouri. He went to be with the lord January 23, 2022. Paul was preceded in death by his Father, Paul Pfeiffer Sr. and several in-laws; Vincent Quinn Sr., Mary Quinn, Vincent Quinn Jr., and Joyce Ewers.
Paul graduated Merritt Island High School in 1970, continuing his education he graduated Brevard Community College and went on to obtain his bachelors from University of Central Florida. Paul was an avid car guy; racing and working on vehicles which he turned into a lifelong career working in Auto Parts Sales. Paul was married to his best friend and soulmate, Catherine (Quinn) Pfeiffer, for 39 years but were together for 45 years. He took part in the Merritt Island High Quarterback for 22 years serving as treasurer and performing defensive stat duties on the side lines. He was an avid football fan watching his Mustangs as well as college and pro football. He cherished his time on the field until he was injured but loved to watch his son play as well as talk to and support the many other student athletes that followed. Paul also served as a treasure for the Class of 70 reunion committee and enjoyed the time spent with his friends. Paul was also a lifelong member of Riverside Presbyterian Church, of which his grandfather was the founding pastor.
He is survived by his Mother Helen L. Carter, his Wife Catherine Pfeiffer, son Paul Pfeiffer III, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He loved his family, his friends, his church, and the mustangs. Paul had a list of adjectives he used to describe himself with the last being modest. Above all he wanted to make an impact on the lives of those around him and his community. Without question he was successful in his goal. He will be missed dearly by all those that knew him.
