Patricia C. Finney

Patricia “Pat” Finney, 92, of Merritt Island, Florida was called home by Jesus on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020. She slipped peacefully into the arms of our Lord with her loving husband and daughter by her side.

Pat was an avid crafter and sewer for many years. She loved to play cards and games with anyone who was willing. She never met a stranger, she loved everyone she met, and they instantly loved her. She had a heart as big as the ocean and there was room for everyone in there.

Pat was born on August 30, 1928 in Seminole, Oklahoma. On May 12, 1945 at the age of 17 Pat married her adoring husband Darren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Stillwell, father, John David Stillwell, siblings and daughter, Celia Warfe. She is survived by her husband Darren Finney, daughter Penny Butler, son in law Michael Butler, sister Sue Shafer. And grandchildren Kerry Luna, Donna Davis, Barbara Benson and Chaz Williams. And by great-grandchildren, Kyrie Manning, Celia Luna, Erin Wilson, Brooke Rauh, Shelby Baron, Michael Baron, McKabry Hollis, Austin Conant, Jordan Luna, Colby Luna. As well as great-great-grandchildren, Christie Manning, Levi Baron, Leah Baron, Jaxson McHenry, Kash Conant, Paisley McHenry with another one due in June.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 at Orsino Baptist Church, 4505 N. Courtnay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida. The family will receive friends at 11am and the service will begin at 12pm with Reverend Monty Trammel officiating. Burial will follow at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North, US-1, Cocoa, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests living plants or donations to the Dr. Jey Pillai Center for Hospice, Rockledge, Florida.
