Cocoa – Mary B. (Tindall) Chrzanowski, 69, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2018.
Mary was born in Trenton, NJ on January 8, 1949 and was raised in Allentown, NJ. She moved to Florida in 1978. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 13 years of service. Mary moved from Titusville to the community of Lost Lakes in Cocoa, FL in 2011 and was an active and beloved member of many community groups including Red Hats and Golf Girls. Mary was also active in church throughout her life, most notably at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Titusville and Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island.
Mary is predeceased by her parents John and Matilda (Tillie) Tindall, her husband of 35 years Joseph Chrzanowski, and her partner Charles (Charlie) Wilkins. She is survived by three children, Karen Thaggard (Steve), Joseph Chrzanowski Jr., and Debra Genovese (Donnie). She had six grandchildren, Blake Thaggard, Brandi Thaggard, Logan Thaggard, Nathan Chrzanowski, Cole Genovese, and Quinn Genovese. She is also survived by four siblings, John Tindall, Doris Church, Carl Tindall, and Peter Tindall.
Mary was full of kindness and joy, and always maintained a sense of optimism and creativity. She will be missed by so many family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 18th from 10:30-11:30 AM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 18th at 1:30 PM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 18th at 3:00-5:00 at the Lost Lakes Community Clubhouse.
