Sept 12, 1942 Tuesday - Sept 2, 2022 Friday
Cocoa, Fl
Survived by her children whom she adored, Andrew Wm. Hardy II, Trish Hardy Barrett (Kevin), Grandchildren: Savannah Barrett, Olivia Barrett Franz (Bryan), Landry Hardy (Hannah) and Great Grandson Everett Franz. She is also survived by her brother Bobby Britt. She is predeceased by her husband, Andy Hardy and her parents AC & Reba Britt.
She was a member of Clearlake Baptist Church and a follower of Jesus Christ, who is her Savior and Lord.
Margie lived her life with the main focus of pointing others to Christ. She was the most self-sacrificing, Christian woman anyone has ever known. "MeMe" as she was called, raised her family under the guidance of our Lord, every decision she ever made was through Him. She was our biggest prayer warrior! She began her career as a Telephone Operator but the legacy she would want you to remember is the strong faith she instilled in her family. MeMe was fiercely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandbaby and would do anything for them. She was treasured and will be missed more than you can imagine.
Margie loved anything gold! She also loved roses, gardens, angels, worship music, Coke, QVC, Trump, watching TV, chatting on the phone (we spoke to her daily), NASCAR racing/Chase Elliott, Dallas Cowboy football, Downton Abbey, tea parties, staying up very late, and her precious great grandson, "Lovey". Her favorite Bible verse was Phil. 4:13 and she said it often! She lived a full life and taught us everything we needed to know about how to move forward after her passing. Mom loved us and she knew we loved her, we said, "I love you" to each other numerous times everyday and more importantly, we showed it to each other. She was the ultimate BEST MOM! She gave us a wonderful life, we have no regrets but our hearts are immensely sad and we will miss her all the days of our lives.
We take comfort in knowing that Jesus softly and tenderly called mom home without any pain or suffering. Her "Earth suit" simply fell away as she was completely restored in the fullness of Christ. She was just 10 days away from her 80th birthday party and was eagerly looking forward to a Tea Party she was planning with her family. We are so thankful we have the reassurance that MeMe is having a party in Heaven more grand than anything we could have thought of here.
Please join us for her funeral at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2pm in the chapel.
We love you Momma, you are BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, we will honor and remember you forever!
Enjoy heaven, give our love to Pop & Granny, we will meet you all at the gates one day!
