Margaret "Joyce" (Brewer) Lockwood, 84 formerly of Mims, FL died Monday morning (2-16-15) at Carver Living Center, Durham, NC. A longtime resident of Hornell & Canisteo until moving to FL around '79/'80. Margaret was the daughter of Charles (Margaret-Sisko) Brewer born on 11-05-30. She married Arthur E. Lockwood, Sr. on 11-15-47 for 45 yrs. who was predeceased on 2-16-92; Son Robert C. Lockwood predeceased on 3-23-13; and granddaughter Penelope Lockwood predeceased on 01-11-90. Surviving are 2 sons Arthur E. (Betty) Lockwood and David J. (Anne) Lockwood; and 1 daughter Deborah S. Lockwood. Also surviving are 2 brothers Charles (Peggy) Brewer and Gerald Brewer; 1 sister Dolores (Brewer) Burritt. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Margaret held several jobs throughout her life-the last of which was a letter carrier for Mims, FL Postal Service. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-22-15 from 1 to 3, with funeral to follow at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home on 5475 North US Highway 1 Cocoa, FL.
