He was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart, Sue for 69 years, the father of 4 children, the grandfather of 8 children and great grandfather of 11 children. His family was the most important thing in his life, and he loved them all dearly. His greatest joy was when all the family was together.
Louis was born in Strattanville, PA. Spent 4 years in the U S Navy during the Korean War and then earned a master’s degree at Penn State College. Louis taught school in Clarion, PA until moving to Melbourne, Fl. He was the head of the science department at Eau Gallie High School where he taught for 30 years and was also a teacher at Eastern State College during that time. After retiring he and Sue spent time going back and forth to a second home in PA. Louis was great carpenter and loved building beautiful things out of wood. He and Sue worked for years for their church pantry helping to feed the poor.
A Celebration of Life will take place at River Run Christian Church. (1660 Croton Rd, Melbourne, Fl) on June 30,2023 at 2:00 PM.
